2021, NorArar Online Platform

‘’NorArar’’ is an online platform implemented by the MIHR Theatre for the young and emerging Armenian artists in the fields of contemporary dance, contemporary literature and contemporary music. ‘’NorArar’’ online platform was implemented with Fest.am and Seda Grigoryan in collaboration with Yerevan Modern Art Museum.

The project has been supported by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of RA.

2017, Yerevan Book Fest

“Yerevan Book Fest” project was first implemented from November 24th to November 26th in 2017 by MIHR theatre with support of Ministry of Culture of RA. During  three days of the festival, reading society had the opportunity to participate in a number of events. Project consisted of several stages:

EXPO: Various publishers were given the opportunity to display and to sell their books.

Master Classes: During the Master Classes creators learned how to get state support, with what kind of design to render books, how to use international opportunities, etc.

Reading sessions.

Contest ”Unpublished works”: It’s the main project activity. Pre-registered readers had an opportunity to participate in the contest and the committee chose several winners, giving them a publication opportunity. Besides the main events, there were also music breaks, which created a warmer and intimate atmosphere.

2015, Asank-Anank Syrian–Armenian Integration Festival

“Asank-Anank” was an open-air festival, an eight-day event, implemented from June 19th  to June 26th, 2015. It was organized as an open creative space in the center of Yerevan. The format meant to instigate interaction, discussion and deeper mutual awareness between Syrian Armenians established in Armenia since the start of Syrian crises and the local communities. Festival offered various kinds of events for different audiences that included exhibitions, community service, kermesse, film screenings, lectures, “tea with strangers”, open mic. reciting, concerts, activities for children, traditional dishes, etc.

The project has been supported by the DVV International in Armenia.

2010, Erebouni-Yerevan City Celebration

In the framework of the ”Erebouni-Yerevan City Celebration” 2010, with support of Yerevan City Center, MIHR theatre organized several events. People of different ages and abilities were involved in the events. We also showcased the open-air performance “Roots” created by MIHR theatre: The production is an innovative insight into Armenian ancient and mythical traditions and reveals the creative perception of Armenian pagan Gods, paintings on the rocks and ancient images. We aimed to promote inclusiveness, non-christian values to different group of people and enhance interest in art.
